Partner Spotlight: Massachusetts Life Sciences Center
The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) is a vital force in advancing the Commonwealth’s life sciences ecosystem. As a state-funded agency, MLSC supports innovation, workforce development, and infrastructure growth, ensuring Massachusetts remains a global leader in biotechnology and biomanufacturing. MBI has long been a proud partner of MLSC, working together to drive economic development and create opportunities for startups in Central Massachusetts. MLSC’s investments in the region have been instrumental in helping MBI fulfill its mission of fostering innovation and supporting early-stage companies.
One of the most significant collaborations between MLSC and MBI is the development of the MBI Pilot Biomanufacturing Center at 17 Briden Street. With funding from MLSC, this state-of-the-art facility provides startups with access to biomanufacturing capabilities, helping them scale their innovations and bridge the gap between research and commercialization.
Beyond infrastructure, MLSC and MBI share a commitment to workforce development. Together, we’ve worked to create programs and initiatives that prepare the next generation of skilled professionals for careers in the life sciences industry. These efforts not only strengthen the local talent pipeline but also ensure that companies have the resources they need to thrive in Worcester and beyond.
We are grateful for our partnership with MLSC and look forward to continuing our shared mission of driving progress and opportunity in the life sciences sector!
