MBI & MCPHS Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Certification Program

A recipient of our Workforce Challenge Grants, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) is developing an innovative Certificate in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing program aimed at bridging the talent gap in pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing industries. Building upon last year’s successful Workforce Challenge grant that led to a specialized Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Certification program, this new initiative will equip students with broader skills to meet the diverse demands of modern manufacturing.

As Massachusetts continues to strengthen its reputation as a global leader in life sciences, the development of targeted, accessible training programs like those at MCPHS is essential. MBI’s Workforce Challenge Grant reflects our commitment to fostering programs that close industry skills gaps, support economic development, and promote workforce diversity in biomanufacturing.

Through partnerships like this one with MCPHS, we look forward to helping more students and career-changers access the skills they need to thrive in high-demand pharmaceutical manufacturing / biomanufacturing roles. Stay tuned as MCPHS begins to launch this program, and join us in celebrating the future contributions of its graduates to the life sciences field!
