Over the past four decades, MBI has been instrumental in the development of biomanufacturing and biotech industries in the region. From the establishment of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Research Park to the creation of the Reactory Biomanufacturing Park, MBI has helped position Central Massachusetts as a leading hub for life sciences innovation.
Our incubator has supported 197+ life sciences startups, providing vital resources, mentorship, and lab space to early-stage companies. These startups have not only contributed to the region’s economy but have also created 1,860+ jobs and created over $2.2B in economic impact.
